Valentines day is fast approaching so as always here is my run down of some of the best gifts you can give your loved one! I know after years of not receiving anything I would be pleased with anything right now! So if you are taking hints for a neglected loved one or just want a little something extra to add to the pile of affection you are going to shower on your other half…..there’s something for everyone!
Fresh flowers have to be at the top of my list (ok Pandora is up there too!) as gifts wanted for Valentines Day. Roses don’t seem to have the same impact at any other point in the year, not even sure why?! That deep red velvet of a classic 12 rose bouquet is simply breathtaking, especially when paired with green and gold foliage. This bouquet from Prestige Hampers is pure perfection. RRP: from £34.99 with the option of adding chocolates etc too.
To wash down a rich chocolate cake what better than a full flavour Barefoot Shiraz Cabernet! Packed to bursting with jammy blackberries and hints of toasty vanilla, giving a smooth velvety finish. This tasty tipple comes with an affordable price tag and is ideal for a cosy night in. RRP: £6.99 from Barefoot Wine
I love a good subscription box and boy am I glad I was introduced to Stirrd. Stirrd is a monthly box of 3 different fudge and confectionery combos. There is a fabulous Valentine trio available which contains Salted Caramel Fudge with Ginseng Ruby Chocolate Drizzle, White Chocolate Honeycomb with Chilli Flakes and Cherry & Chocolate Brownie Fudge with Shimmer. Boxes are priced at £11.99 and sent out once a month from Stirrd.

One of my favourite gifts is perfume. Especially something chosen by a loved one because they like the scent, I love knowing I am wearing something they chose for me. Perfume is a personal thing too so if you find a scent you love you tend to wear the same over and over. One of my favourite scents is Hypnose by Lancome. The description on the Lancome website describes it as a bewitching and hypnotizing fragrance of a woman who knows how to use her charm to fascinate the man she loves. A woody oriental fragrance that acts like a sensual love potion with a magical trail: Passion flower combined with Vanilla and a woody base note with Vetiver.
RRP £36.00 available from Scentsational
No other colour represents Valentines day more than a blushing pink! Mermaid Pink Gin is an aromatic and refreshing gin from the Isle of Wight. Flavoured with strawberries, a blend of lemon zest, grains of paradise and fragrant rock samphire. The samphire is foraged from the islands cliffs, locally known as Mermaids Kiss, hence the gin name. I found this gin a lot more delicate than a lot of the other sweet pink gins, much more of an aromatic strawberry flavour than artificial fruits. RRP: £40.00 from M&S and Mermaid Spirit
A combo of chocolate and gin would go down well as a Valentine night aphrodisiac. This pairing of Montezuma chocolates and Caorunn Gin work perfectly together as the flavours compliment each other perfectly. The raspberry of Caorunn against the dark chocolate make for the ideal duo! The Montezuma I Love You collection contains prosecco truffles and dark chocolate raspberry truffles. RRP: £12.99 In recent years there has been a rise in flavoured gin, Caorunn Scottish Raspberry Gin offers all the flavour of pink gin but with natural flavours of raspberry with no additives. RRP: £21.99 from Masters Of Malt (50cl)

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
