There is nothing like a good night sleep and to be honest lately I have had no good night sleep. I think going through the menopause and having hot flushes alongside the usual aches and pains means waking in the night has become the norm lately.
When Simba reached out about working together I jumped at the chance. I already have a pocketspring and memory foam core mattress but it is getting on to its 7th year now and definitely has indentations where I sleep. Since it is only me in the bed one side is more worn than the other and I think that might be cause for some of the nightly disruption too.
A Simba Hybrid Topper transforms any mattress in an instant. The innovative design combines up to 2,500 ingenious Aerocoil® springs and a layer of open structured Simbatex® foam.
Designed to offer extra airflow compared to a standard memory foam topper for a fresher, more comfortable sleep. Includes removable, washable cover.
The topper arrived inside a box and shrink wrapped so easy to get upstairs and in situ. I remember opening the packaging on the mattress and seeing the transformation from pancake to, well, bed! The mattress topper was the same. Popped on top of the bed it thankfully comes with straps to keep it in position on top of the mattress. I am however going to have to buy even deeper valance sheets as these ones just aren’t covering both any time soon!
I have to admit that first night sleeping on it was amazing. I’m not sure if i had just had a long day and was worn out enough to crash but I slept all night. Only woke when the alarm clock was going off! Thankfully I have now had almost a week to trial it and I honestly can’t wait to go to bed each night. What was quickly becoming something I dreaded, has turned into my favourite place to be. Simba offer everything you could need for a good night sleep, from pillows and small-double mattress protectors to mattresses and upholstered beds.
One of the things I love about Simba as a company are that all returned Simba mattresses are either refurbished or recycled via a trusted third partner – and their recycling service accepts any brand of mattress with no Simba purchase necessary.
Prices start from £299 for the Simba Hybrid Topper and in my opinion it is worth every penny.
