There isn’t a single person alive who has never heard of Peppa Pig and I am sure that she has to be one of the most well known cartoon characters available today.
We were kindly sent the Peppa Pig Campervan Playset: Peppa Pig is ready to see the great outdoors travelling in her classic campervan.
This free-wheeling campervan has an extendable, wind-out awning and removable seats and table. Lift off the roof and set up to cook because there’s always time for a barbecue on camping adventures. This set also includes a shower to rinse off after visiting the beach and four articulated Peppa family figures: Peppa Pig, Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig and George Pig.
Amelia loves watching the cartoons so was super excited when the box arrived containing the little boisterous pig and her family. Thankfully the campervan is robust plastic and well able to withstand the 2 year old temper tantrums that come with not being able to fit the family into the camper van through the windows! ( …yes that did happen!) The pig family have movable legs but not much else so there is a limited amount of play there, however Amelia loved the roll out awning and little BBQ, pointing out that they were having fish, corn and eggs for tea (meaning of course we had to have fish, corn and eggs for tea too!)
The movable wheels mean that Amelia spent a while pushing it around the floor before sitting on it too – as i said it is rather robust so held up well! Bonus! The seats are removable which make great picnic seats around the fold out table, laid with plates and cuttlery which thankfully are not moulded in place so unable to be lost as most small pieces are with childrens toys!
Overall we rated this a solid 7 out of 10, a good all round toy and must for any Peppa Pig fan!
