If you are looking for naturally healing skincare that caters for dry and sensitive skin as well as being vegan friendly, then So Sona is for you!
At an early age Sona did her fair bit of experimentation with both highstreet and luxury brands that were aimed at helping her psoriasis, however these brands were formulated with chemical ingredients; doing more harm than good.
Sona always wanted to create her own brand so after discussions with her husband that is exactly what she did. She wanted to help others and this motivation pushed Sona to research all natural ingredients, whilst spending late nights creating batches of butter and finding ways to improve the brand and formula.
I was kindly sent a jar of the So Sona Evergreen Whipped Body Butter. This deliciously fluffy butter provides instant hydration and replenishment of the skin.
I spend a lot of time in the sun over the past couple of weeks trying to get some of the weeds out. I am not green fingered in the slightest so probably shouldn’t have even bothered! My skin has taken a battering and to be honest I got totally burnt and started peeling.
The Everygreen body butter contains Avocado oil which is calming and hydrating dry skin. It also contains broccoli oil which is high in fatty acids like Omega 6 and 9 and easily absorbed into skin. The oat oil is a natural moisturiser, removing dead skin whilst acting as a protective barrier. Perfect for my sun damaged skin.
To be honest I expected it to smell like veggies, the broccoli scared me at first! However it is really soothing, kinda sweet with a neroli-like undertone. One of my favourite skin care products is Chamomile so the infusion of this too creates the perfect evening blend.
Overall I am super impressed with So Sona. The ethos and product itself has certainly won a place on my must have list!
