When I found out we were pregnant with a girl I have to admit I envisaged mountains of dolls, pink toy pushchairs and endless collections of lipbalms and rubbers/erasers (…a throw back to me growing up!) I think I was around 12 when I stopped making up roller skate dances and dressing up my baby doll – oh boy how times change! These days 12 year olds have larger make up collections than I do, wear designer gear and earn more than I ever got in pocket money, EVER, from making Youtube videos!
There is only so much we can do as parents to keep our children young and innocent without wrapping in bubble wrap … so when new phases come along, ie Shopkins, Equestria Girls etc I seem to jump at the chance to get Evie and Amelia interested. Numnoms are a prime example of something that can quickly garner interest, are age appropriate and can be played with by everyone.
The larger Numnom packs contain everything you need to get started with your collection. Ice cream scoop, cone, 2 motorized Noms and 6 Numnoms (which in our case were Ice cream scoops) which are deliciously scented in the likes of vanilla, chocolate, cherry and so many more, infact over 60 different ‘flavours’ to collect.
Alongside the large packs are the little yogurt style carton Mystery Packs which you can purchase individually. These contain a lipbalm and Nom (in ours it was an additional ice cream scoop) Evie adores lipbalms so this tipped her excitement over the edge! lol
I have to admit to finding these little guys super cute and once the motorized Noms are set about buzzing around the floor, the race to place as many toppers onto them creates some hilarious scenes! The girls love the fact there is always more than one on the go and compete to see who can stack the highest. The scents seem to last an awful long time too which adds to the appeal as you build up your favourite ‘flavour’ combo as you go.
We are on the look out for the new releases and have heard they do a Sushi collection too, which I simply have to have … by me I mean the girls of course! 😉
XOXO
Debbie
The girls were sent the Numnoms for purpose of this review, all opinions are our own and the obsession to grow this collection is purely self inflicted!
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
[…] girls go crazy for anything that is collectable, I’ve previously mentioned Num Noms and Shopkins…well now meet the Tsum […]
