If you have followed my blog for a while now you will know I don’t have the best self body image. When I look at myself in the mirror I really want to love my curves, love what is looking back at me, and I do know I am getting there slowly. I am a huge advocate for loving who you are and taking time out for self care but when it comes to doing it myself I really need to up my game.
Since I have started with Slimbiome I am doing slightly better, it also helps knowing there are little tips and tricks to help me along the way. One of the best places to start is from the bottom and work your way up – so starting with the basics…underwear.
The Maidenform Body Shaper was sent to me to review and is to be worn with your own bra. This is perfect as I find that having a large bust means the rest of the shaper or bodysuit doesn’t fit too well. I am short, 5ft 1inch, so most body shapers tend to be too long in the body or too big in the body compensating for the bust size.
I found this body shaper was perfect for skimming over those rolls at the top of jeans or when wearing dresses, I have an apron around my stomach from housing 6 children which I know I am never going to get rid of completely and it is a huge bone of contention for me. If I could get rid of that I could quite happily love the rest of my figure – the thick thighs, the big bottom….bring it on, but that stomach roll just ruins so many outfits. Thankfully I have found wearing the Maidenform body shaper is both comfortable and really does smooth down my tummy rolls!
Overall this is the best one I have worn and so much more comfortable than many of the boned/bra cup shapers i have tried in the past.
I was sent the Maidenform Body Shaper for the purpose of a review, all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
