There is nothing quite like a Sunday afternoon watching old movies snuggled on the sofa, with this weekend being Fathers Day too why not spoil him with a collection of Golden Oldies.
I can remember being little and dad watching nothing but John Wayne movies on a Sunday, we would stay in our pjs and have ‘cakes on a plate’ for tea – that was our name for a picky tea, pickled onions in a bowl, crackers, crisps, cheese and lots of random goodies… ie cakes on a plate!
