Thankfully the girls love role play toys and when the boys were little they also had vacuum cleaners, mini ironing boards etc, I think it is important to show that gender does not mean you do or do not do housework. When we were asked to review the new Hetty or Henry Deluxe Cleaning Trolley I just knew the girls would love either.
Upon arrival it is is quite a compact box and needs building up, the instructions are clear and it is a simple case of clicking a few pieces into place. No complicated screws or connections, just twist the handles together and the base of the trolley clips into the handle – simple!
With a lot of accessories it is an ideal little base for all budding house work enthusiasts, the contents include a mop, duster, mini brush and dustpan, sweeping brush, 2 pretend squeezy bottles, a bucket and working vacuum!
Everything has a home on the trolley and with super tough plastic wheels the kids can take the trolley everywhere with them! My floors have never been cleaner as they love to put soapy water in the bucket and mop the kitchen within an inch of its life!
The squeezy bottles are fun as they can’t be filled with anything so encourage pretend play and mean less mess. Recommended for ages 3 to 8 I think this is spot on as both Amelia (3) and Evie (7) love playing with this. The vacuum requires AA batteries which aren’t included and it really does pick up bits – there have been times the girls have made a biscuit crumb mess and cleaned it up themselves! It isn’t going to clean a whole floor but it really is good for picking up small bits!
Overall we highly recommend the Henry (or Hetty) Deluxe Cleaning Trolley and I hope the kids play with it for a long time yet (my floors are thankful!)

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
