Not being able to drive means I rely heavily on public transport to get both me and the children around when Stuart is at work or when we would like a day out somewhere it is awful to drive – mainly central Newcastle!
Thankfully Stagecoach now have an app that allows you to see real time and up to date bus information but also lets you purchase your tickets online, no more panic that i forgot to go to the cashpoint and have no cash on me or the notes wont be accepted by the driver!
The app shows the quickest routes and if the busses are running on time – this is a huge bug bare of mine, waiting at a bus stand not knowing if the next one in is 5 minutes away as it should be or arrived early and you have to wait another 20 having just missed it! (can you tell its happened more than once!)
I was kindly invited along to an awareness night to highlight the app with Stagecoach, we got to make our very own mobile phone case – I opted for stripes of muted grey and pink nail varnish while others went to town with spray paint, glitters and stickers!
We were provided with cocktails from the fabulous Jalou barstaff and talked through the merits of downloading the Stagecoach app and what the busses had on board – free wifi and USB charging points are huge bonuses for those of us who are active on social media constantly!
We are heading over to Newcastle soon so will be trying out the app for ourselves very soon!
XOXO
Debbie
I was invited along to Jalou for the night via Stagecoach, all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
Glad you had a great time. We loved having you xx
