Valentines Review and Giveaway | 18+ Adults Only

That one day of the year is rolling around, when us hopeless romantic stalk the postman for flower deliveries and wait for the thud of cards on the doormat.  Of course those of you who are single or dare I say it, married to a not very romantic man, will of course know that unless you plan something yourself dinner will not be made, candle lit or not!  Gifts will not be exchanged and cards, well, those school days are long gone!

This year I am taking matters into my own hands and going all out to add a little fun, and spice, to my relationship!

I was asked by the lovely people over at Cool Stuff to select some items I thought would make Valentines Day and Night, so that is exactly what I have done, from prep work through to ending the day with a bang!

There is no better way than to head into Valentines night well relaxed and regenerated, which is why I chose my first two items.  Both the snuggle blanket and water bottle will ensure you are chilled to the max, just don’t fall asleep!   The Snug Rug Blanket with Sleeves is something I have wondered about for a while and boy am I sorry I waited so long.  Instead of feeling like you are caught up and can’t do anything when snuggled on the sofa, this blanket made it super easy for me to hold my book, reach for snacks and use my Crystal Elixir Bottle.    I am a huge believer in the power of crystals and the thought of being infused from the inside out intrigued me!  Combining contemporary design with ancient healing, I opted for the Pink which symbolises love, pleasure and compassion, boosts your self-esteem and your inner peace.  Just the thing to get me in the mood for love!

Finding new ways to spice up a relationship can be hard so I chose some items that aren’t solely for men or women, they are aimed at bringing you closer together as a couple while adding a little fun back into play!   First up is a Love Calendar for Couples which is in essence an advent calendar that can be used whenever you like.  It doesn’t even need to be used on consecutive days, simply open a door, each hatch offers a suggestion for three different activities — either fun things to do together, romantic gestures or hot and sexy inspiration to resort to when you get under the covers!

Next up is something you may need to not display on the bedroom wall if you have kids!  I love the idea of scratch posters and already plan on gifting the movie one to my sister for her upcoming birthday (sshh!).  So, when I saw the 50 Ways To Lay Scratch Poster it sparked my imagination (…is there even 50 positions??!)  With names such as The Dolphin, Crouching Tiger and The Challenge I am looking forward to finding out more and thankfully there are drawings under each scratch panel to help with … erm… positioning!
