One thing I love about the internet is that not a day goes by when I don’t find something new and amazing! My newest find is a fabulous box cocktail making kit from The Cocktail Man, London.
Available from NotOnTheHighstreet you can choose from multiple cocktails including Watermelon Martini to Gin Tasting Kits and even a sweet Turkish Delight flavour Butterfly Martini…which is what I received.
In each kit comes pre-measured ‘shots’ of alcohol and syrups for you to mix at home, it really is a simple case of emptying them into a mixer, popping in some ice and giving it a good shake! The instructions for each cocktail are clearly printed along with all of the ingredients and which glassware to use – unfortunately due to lack of space I am a little shy on martini glasses so had to opt for one of the childrens breakfast orange glasses…this did not hinder the taste at all but I might have felt a little more sophisticated sipping from an actual martini glass than a juice one but it did mean that instead of 2 cocktails I got one large one! lol
There was even a die cut butterfly to adorn the glass once the cocktails was made and I was super impressed with the attention to details within the kit. The way it was all packaged, the little bottles and recipe card through to the finished cocktail – which was absolutely delicious. A super sweet and rather strong Turkish Delight flavour cocktail that went down a treat!
The kits are £18.95 it might seem a little steep at first but working on that each kit contains enough for 2 cocktails, that is pretty much on par with enjoying a drink out on the town, only you get to have them in your pjs while watching Netflix – bonus!!
