As you will have seen in my last piece about Cotton Traders, I am a huge lover of the Alex Jones look. This collection contains pieces that are classic and will stand the test of time. They can also be switched out with clothing that you already own to update a look or style it differently, taking it from day to night for example.
Alex is back with her spring-summer edit, showcasing, once again, how her styles fit so synonymously with everything we are here at Cotton Traders. As the warmer weather arrives, a splash of colour and some clever layering tricks are helping her transition through the seasons, never compromising on looking and feeling great.
I tend to find that jeans are either too tight around my stomach then baggy on the bottom or vice versa! These are perfect because of the back elastication only. They don’t since in all the way round and lay flat at the front. See below pics for me showing just how much room there is!
Denim and nautical stripes are some of my favourites and I was delighted that they feature heavily in this collection. When I realised that there were elasticated waist jeans I jumped at the chance to try them.
Honestly they are the most comfortable jeans I think I now own. The mum style to them means they are perfect to wear for both the school run with a sweatshirt or can be dressed up with a crisp white shirt for lunch with the girls.
Available in sizes 10 – 22 and in 2 lengths. These jeans are the epitome of comfort and style with deep pockets and back waist elastication. This comes in handy when wanting to have a starter and dessert!

Another piece I picked up was the beautiful denim dress. I love a dress that I can wear with trainers, long gone are the days of heels. They hurt too much, been there done that and not going back! This denim dress is just the right length to be dressed up or down and looks great with a cardigan tied over the shoulders too – preppy!
This stone wash midi shirt dress is available in sizes 8 – 22 and best of all IT HAS POCKETS! Seriously, if a dress does not have pockets I’m not interested anymore!
I wore this dress to my sons 21st birthday dinner as we just popped to the local pub/restaurant, it was dressy enough without being too much and I felt super comfortable all night. 5 Stars from me!
