The weather the past week or so is how I hope it stays for the most of June, gradually getting warmer and warmer so we can have a proper holiday season! Last year was beautiful, I remember sitting out, soaking up the rays and actually feeling like there was no need to go abroad just to feel like we had had some semblance of a summer!
I am also off to America in October, so although I am getting clothing that will see me through a UK summer, I want things that will be travel friendly too. Autumn in the US is still going to be humid and summer dresses and jumpsuits are the perfect option!
I chose the following outfits from Very and love that they are a mix of high street names. The fact that it saves me having to leave the house and trawl around town looking in all the different stores is a god send. I can sit at home (preferably in the sun!) and browse online at clothing from hundreds of different retailers all under one roof – Very!
The order process was super easy and delivery pretty much next day, the only item that arrived in 2 days was the bag but that was well worth the wait!
Now, I have to admit this is my most favourite maxi dress ever! First up its Monsoon, what’s not to love about everything they create. I may be biased but this is my go to store and holy grail when it comes to giving myself a treat! The pattern itself lends perfectly to warm summer days and brings a tropical feel with the bright colours and shapes.

The side ties create a beautiful line under the bust and bring up the front of the dress slightly. The material is thick and perfect for warmer days but would still rock with a denim jacket and trainers for day time. I wore this to meet a friend for lunch and got a few compliments about how summery I looked as we strolled along the sea front! RRP: £80.00
One for the capsule collection. Seeing you through annual family holidays and warm summer garden parties.

The halter neckline and tiered skirt give such a flattering fit and although I am wearing no bra with this, the way the bodice sits gives enough support. Very impressed as I think most halter dresses require a strapless bra which I hate wearing.

It comes with a completely detachable sash which can be worn around the waist or get creative, use it as a hair tie/band to match the dress! £75.00
This is one of those jumpsuits that you will not want to take off. You may end up purchasing it in every colour available, it really is that comfortable!

I have worn this dog walking, to the beach, out for lunch with friends…everywhere! 100% cotton means it is perfect after each wash too, a quick cycle, out on the line and its good to go. Available in Khaki. RRP: £29.99

I adore this floral print jumpsuit, the colours, the fit, everything! I do have an apron tummy after having 6 children so tend to go for drop waist clothing. If I sized up the chest area would be way too baggy so I simply added some control underwear to tighten up in the places I needed.

The jumpsuit hangs beautifully and has flattering frill sleeves. The suit is cut to mid length but being 5ft 1 I find it perfect and can pass it off as full length. It would look great with either heeled shoes for a night out, or trainers to dress down during the day. RRP: £42.00

Your everyday bag collection wouldn’t be complete without the Daytona Grab Bag. Crafted from recycled materials, the trims have been polished with metal hardware for a refined off duty look.

I will be doing a ‘What’s in my bag?’ post soon as I have literally transferred everything over and haven’t stopped using this one since I got it! RRP: £75.00
Overall I couldn’t be happier with what I chose and I am off to have another look as I need some brown sandals to go with my new outfits (and to match my bag!)
