If you are a long term reader of the blog you will have seen the last review post for Cotton Traders where I showcased the elasticated waist jeans. Well, let me tell you I have been living in these beauties! So comfortable and they look great with jumpers and t-shirts too – they are definitely going to be a staple in my wardrobe going forward.
I have been on the lookout for some tops to wear with the jeans. Floaty, summer style since the weather is getting a lot warmer lately. I love nothing more than being comfortable and yes, t-shirts have their place but I love a beautiful embroidered top to add a little bit of class if heading out for lunch with the girls and Cotton Traders has you covered.
First up is the Pintuck Lace Sleeve Blouse in the Dusk Blue. This is a stunning top that really does have a wow factor. The lace sleeves are beautiful and are great for keeping it airy on warm days. There are elegant pintucks to the front of the blouse and faux mother of pearl front fastenings. The elasticated cuffs add volume to the lace sleeves and the slightly shaped hemline helps it lay beautifully over both jeans and leggings. RRP: £36 and available in 3 colours. Sizes 10-24.
Next up is the pure cotton Embroidered 3/4 Sleeve top. Beautifully embellished with florals on the front, sleeves and scallop hem. The elasticated cuff gives a voluminous feel which makes this lightweight blouse cool and comfortable. I adore this blouse and have it in both colours now – it is so light and airy but yet thick enough pure cotton to allow for just a bra underneath. It is obscene the amount of tops I have where I have to wear another strappy top underneath just so I don’t feel like I’m flashing! Available in 2 colours and from size 8-26 this is a must have piece for any summer wardrobe. RRP: £38
Finally is the stunning Crinkle Blouse which has beautiful embroidery to both the front and the sleeves. There is keyhole detail with button to the neckline. The crinkle fabric is so soft and forgiving too. I adore this top as it is such a comfortable piece to wear not matter what the weather. As with the other two, the elasticated cuffs add volume which I adore. I hate showing my arms or having anything too tight on them so to know that this is billowy and not showing off my bingo wings – well, that’s a huge win in my book!
