If there’s one thing regular readers know about me, it’s that I’m a firm believer in the power of words. Write it down, say it out loud, and believe it’s already yours.
So when the team at Manifestation Pulse got in touch about their newest book, A Year of Yes, I couldn’t wait to get stuck in. I’ve worked with them a few times now. Their Vision Board Templates Book got my momentum back on track, I spent 100 Days of Healing journalling my way through old hurts, and their clip art books have been the backbone of my 2025and 2026 vision boards. Even their manifestation journal earned a spot in my Everyday Magic post.
So I already knew I’d be in safe hands.
DISCLOSURE – I was gifted a copy of A Year of Yes by Manifestation Pulse in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Year of Yes is a daily affirmation book with one positive, present-tense affirmation for every day of the year. There are 366 in total, so leap years are covered too.
What makes it different from other affirmation books I’ve tried is that none of the affirmations are random. Each one has been chosen for its specific date, matched to the season, the mood of the month and the meaning of the day itself.
Here’s what you’ll find inside:

This is the part that won me over. January 1st doesn’t feel the same as Midsummer, and the last day of the year carries a completely different energy again. A Year of Yes honours that.
If, like me, you follow the seasons and the Wheel of the Year, this will feel very natural. Your daily practice flows with what’s happening around you. Fresh starts in January, growth and confidence through spring, abundance at the height of summer, and reflection as the nights draw in.
It also takes the guesswork out of it. Rather than flicking through a book hoping something fits, the right words are already waiting for you each morning.

I’ve made A Year of Yes part of my morning routine. It lives on my bedside table, so it’s the first thing I reach for before the busy day takes over.
My little ritual looks like this:
A Year of Yes is a gentle, practical way to bring a little more positivity into every single day. It’s perfect if you’re new to affirmations and don’t know where to start, and just as lovely if you’ve been manifesting for years and want something that follows the rhythm of the seasons.
It would also make a thoughtful gift. Pop it in a stocking or a festive hamper for a friend who deserves a brighter year ahead, or start it yourself on 1st January as a fresh-start ritual.
