We love it when winter rolls round and its time for comfort food, big pots of broth, dishes full of crumble and custard and of course the only essential start to the day – Ready Brek! The girls are particularly partial to a steaming hot bowl of it and love to add their own toppings, from fresh fruit to a good old dollop of Nutella! Ready Brek is a family favourite nationwide and a great way to start the day for the whole family, I am going to try and make some of the muffins I recently saw on another blog too, it most definitely isn’t just for breakfast!
Saying that though the days are getting colder and there is a bitter chill in the air so first thing on a morning we pop the heating on and the girls snuggle under a blanket while I make their breakfasts. Even better if there is a puzzle on the packet as it keeps them occupied while i work my magic in the kitchen.
We have taken to popping on a DVD each day too, timing it so that they know as soon as the movie is done its time to get ready for school without fuss. This is working for us as the girls know the routine and we have less messing around with stalling tactics! We are currently watching Despicable Me 3 which has been released on DVD in time for Christmas, the girls are obsessed with the little Minions and have been since the first movie so this is their favourite at the moment!
Ready Brek are currently running competitions on their packs to win Despicable Me 3 merchandise and we were kindly sent one of the Mineez Minions Collector tins. If you follow my blog you will know how hooked the girls get on mini collectibles so this went down a storm with them! Knowing they now have over 40 to collect set their little collector hearts fluttering and I am now on the hunt to find more for their Christmas stockings. Series 1 comes with collectors tin and are available from all good stockist. rrp: £14.99 but at the moment only £7.99 on Amazon (affiliate link)
We were sent the items for the purpose of this review, all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
