Anyone who knows me knows my love of all things Autumn. The colours, the season, the pumpkins…all the pumpkins…pumpkin everything!
Yes I am that basic bitch that will start drinking Pumpkin spice lattes as soon as they hit the stores (and have even bought some pumpkin spice creamer to have the odd latte at home!)
When we moved in to our new home I decorated with my Rae Dunn head on. Everything was light and bright and to be honest I really enjoyed it for a while. It helped us settle in to somewhere new and was totally different to the black doorways and woodwork etc that we use to have. The walls are light and wood work white.
To be honest, renting means that I really don’t have the ability to splash the dark paint around so freely.
Having said that I have decided on redoing the whole house in more my style. It really does help that TK Maxx have released their Halloween goodies in store.
It seems like they have upped their game this year, which is great considering last year was pretty much a washout for a lot of people.
To be honest both me and my sister did well last year with finds, having spotted them early on. Now though there seems to be so many more people raiding the stores from the first signs of anything.
This year I have managed to grab a couple of new bits and brought out all my older ones that can stay out all year round. I am loving the vibes its giving off and it feels so much more me.
I smile when I walk in each room and each one smells amazing thanks to the DW HOME and Martha Stewart candles etc – so much pumpkin spice!
My favourite finds this year so far have to be the crow candle sticks and the cushions – so many cushion releases this year and I only have a two seater sofa! Hope you don’t mind sitting on the floor as soon there won’t be any room to sit on the sofa at all! Cynthia Rowley has a lot to answer for. I hate to think how much more is to be released between now and the end of October…… (the circle is where my new serpent lamp is going to go!)
…..then of course the Christmas releases start!
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
