Having an Aldi in town is great when you are trying to save money as it is a lot cheaper than the other leading supermarkets. We noticed this a lot with our food shopping but also with having 6 children and working our way through a mountain of wipes and nappies in the past 21 years we have found that child specific items (which are usually a premium in other stores) are a lot more reasonably priced, I only wish we had found the store sooner, we would have saved a fortune.
Since Amelia turned 2 there has been a shift in her eating patterns, she is eating adult size portions some of the time yet picking at bits other times which means we can be caught off guard if we are ever out and about! We have started to take a little picnic with us where ever we go in the form of food pouches and snacks as well as flavoured waters and fruit. That way if she falls asleep and misses lunch she can catch up on the go or if we misjudge her appetite we can fill her up with something healthy instead of junk food!

The great thing about the Aldi Mamia range is that it has been developed in response to the needs of real mums and dads, Aldi Mamia’s award-winning 100% organic baby food range starts at just 59p, and includes fruit and savoury pouches, fruit pots, rice cakes, and flavoured spring water.

Amelia has never been a picky child and will quite happily devour olives and mussels so the organic pouches such as mango, apple and banana or apple, sweet potato, butternut squash and blueberry are just to her taste buds as they offer something different.

Since Amelia also stopped drinking full fat milk as part of her diet (she really doesn’t like it!) she gets all of her vitamins from food now so to know that all of the Mamia foods are completely organic puts our mind at ease.
Amelia hasn’t once reacted to the Mamia wipes or nappies like she has to some of the other more well known brands. That to us speaks volumes and that is why they are a regular part of our bedtime routine too!
Has your little one tried this range yet and what did they think?
XOXO
Debbie

I LOVE Aldi – my little man is 4 months old and we use their nappies all the time, they’re by far the best. I’ll be checking out their food range once I start weaning him. Jo x
