When I was younger I longed to have girls with long flowing locks that would sit still while I brushed their hair. Carefree and chatting about what we had planned for the day ahead.
In reality it involves lots of wiggling and screams of Oww that hurts! Instead of smiles there are usually tears and cries of how I am the most awful human being in the world, that is until it is all over and the hair is perfection.
We have tried all kinds of brushes and the only ones that works for us are the Tangle Teaser and Tangle Angel. I generally ply a generous amount of conditioner to the girls hair but I am conscious of the fact this is made for MY hair, dry and damaged, colour treated etc. So many not in fact be ideal for hair of such a young age.
We were recently sent the Locks in Goodness Hair Smoothie which detangles and smooths, it is left on after shampooing and brushed through the hair to get rid of even the toughest of tangles. It can even prevent nits and lice as it is a leave in condition with natural essential oils including tea tree, eucalyptus and clove oil. The Hair Smoothie is free from all nasties including parabens, petrochemicals, synthetics, sulphates, silicones, talcs, SLS and parfum. Priced at £10.95 for a 120ml tube, a little goes a long way.
Alongside the smoothie we were sent the Locks In Goodness Hair Gel. Evie always wears her hair tied up for school so this is great for keeping those little wispy bits in place. I think it would be ideal for those with short hair who would like to hold a style all day too. Again this is 100% plant based and contains no nasties! As above, £10.95 per tube and available from Amazon.

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
