The girls have always been real little ‘mothers’, fussing over babies and looking after others at school etc. Amelia is often hailed as the one who comes running when someone is upset and Evie is a real little mummy to all of her dolls, so when we were given the opportunity to review the Tiny Treasures dolls I knew the girls would be delighted.
Tiny Treasures are soft body weighted dolls that feel a lot like the real thing and are great for role play with the girls, to hear them being so caring and considerate towards the dolls is beautiful. The babies we received were delivered in sturdy cardboard car seats and only needed to be unbuckled to be removed which makes a huge change from the wires, screws, contraptions and hoops you need to jump through usually to get into a childs play thing! We received a boy and a girl, within their car seats were their birth certificates which we could fill out ourselves, the girls loved this bit as it made it like an official adoption/birth.
Our little girl was dressed in a pink romper suit with jet black hair and the cutest chubby cheeks ever, our little boys was dressed in blue romper with the smartest of hats hiding his straight blonde hair. Both dolls eyes close and open when laid down and sat back up, Amelia loved this and kept pretending they were asleep and telling us all to SHUSH!
We also received 3 new outfits so that the girls could change their clothing, one was a dino romper, another was dressing gown and fluffy slippers and the final outfit was a beautiful little denim dress and bunny eared slippers/shoes.
As you can imagine the girls love nothing more than getting their dolls ready to go out for the day so we headed out and took them to the park for some fresh air! The girls were slightly concerned they might get cold and that I must buy them both new coats asap – nice one kids, pray on a mothers concern for her children! lol
What we love about Tiny Treasures is that they are reasonably priced compared to other newborn dolls, retailing at £39.99 per doll and £12.99 per outfit. There are lots of accessories you can purchase too including a wardrobe to keep all of the little outfits in, a plastic carseat, carry cot and so much more!
Needless to say the girls have seen a few outfits and bits that they now need for the dolls birthdays – apparently we have to have a party too. They really are good little mums!
XOXO
