Living Arrows is all about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and as usual I am linking up with the lovely Donna at What the Redhead said this week.
Each Monday we share pictures that sum up our week or highlight something that has stood out during the past week and for me this week has been all about family and as I celebrate my birthday today I have done a little reflecting on things.
Ben, Lauren and Milo have been visiting since mid week and only went home yesterday so it has been lovely to spend some quality time with them. Thankfully we are all a pretty close family and love spending time together, I always imagined when I had my children that they would go on to have lots of grandbabies and we could all sit around and play games, chatting and just being FAMILY! My mum paid a visit and we all watched Bake Off together (yes it is just as good on Channel 4 – sorry not sorry!), Stuart came through to take Ben out driving and it was lovely to see everyone who matters happy!
Making time for each other is a huge part of who we are and we all agreed that if you don’t make an effort to be part of someones life then why do you deserve the good bits, the photos of them growing up, the party invites etc. I count a lot of my online friends as family too as they have been there through thick and thin and don’t judge, life is too short to waste on people that don’t matter and since I turn 43 today I am too old to play games!
Here’s to FAMILY!
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
