I am a couple of days behind due to getting things in order at home (much better now we have some set routines etc but will touch on that more further down the page!)
Last week was quite a quiet one as the kids were back to school, I was playing catch up with some projects and hubby was working! Needless to say between housework, work – work and the children we didn’t seem to get much of anything done but never stopped, do you have days like that, where you feel like you’re on the go all the time but no further forward!?
OK, here we go with last weeks run down and linking up again with Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat…
READ
Still reading Unmumsy Mum and have progressed onto the Halo instruction manual too! lol We need to cut down on the fatty foods so this is a perfect solution, I was shown how to use one at new year when we were at Carolines and since then we knew it was going to happen and well, yes, it kind of fell into a basket and checked itself out!
WATCHED
Designated Survivor! Love Keifer Sutherland and have skipped past this one a few time as i thought it was just ‘another US white house show’ but its actually really good. Thoroughly enjoying it and almost at the end of season one – not sure if two is on Netflix yet so will have to double check.
HEARD
Amelia is starting to put sentences together. Up until now we have had strings of one word at a time, maybe two or three but never a whole sentence, I have a feeling now shes started shes not going to stop! lol
MADE
My food blog! Its well under way and I am so looking forward to launching it but don’t want to do anything until i’m completely happy with it all. So far i am loving the format and styling, I just need to get more recipes uploaded and made so it doesn’t look a little sparse on launch! EEK – exciting! We also made our first weeks meal plan so really excited to see what next weeks has instore (I haven’t written it yet!) lol
WORE
This week had been all about tights and woolly hats! The snow was threatening earlier but despite a light covering we have fared quite well, unlike a lot of the country, so we are very happy about that!
and LASTLY
We have spent a lot of time crafting and making this week, after looking through all of the inspiration in the rainy day blog post links sent to me we got out the paints! Amelia loved making hand and foot prints plus we also made some potato prints too. Lots more crafting to come as she really enjoyed it!

I have been looking into the Halo myself, I am very interested to find out what you think of it. It sounds like you have had a busy week, look forward to the launch of your food blog x
I started Designated Survivor ages ago and then forgot about it, I must go back and finish the season.
Exciting news about your food blog, I look forward to taking a look.
Have a great week! xxx
I’ve heard so many people rave about Designated Survivor I really need to start watching it!
