Working from home gives me the benefits of being able to sit on the sofa with the laptop. The time has come though where I need to be able to set up the printer and cutting machine next to me and the ideal place is the breakfast bar area.
Since we moved here we have purchased a small table and stools but boy were they uncomfortable! When we were given the chance to work with Lakeland Furniture on reviewing barstools it was like fate had stepped in!

I chose the Black Atlanta stools which are well padded luxurious bar stools with a high back rest and an attractive silver coloured trim around the edges of the seat cushion. Classy and comfortable too.
The seat has a sloping back rest to provide good support and a waterfall front edge to prevent any uncomfortable pressure on the backs of your legs. It is padded with high density foam and covered in top quality black faux leather which is hard wearing and easy to keep clean. The quilted design on the seat gives this bar stool and air of luxury.

The stools are a great height and are fully adjustable within 20cm and the floor protector is concealed beneath the base.
The stools were super easy to build and it was simply a case of screwing the seat onto the base in four places. They are sturdy and great for both myself and the girls. Thankfully the mechanisms are too low for Amelia otherwise I would never get her off there!

As you can see my desk is in full swing with work projects and thanks to the Atlanta stool I can sit here comfortably for hours on end now!
Available from Lakeland Furniture and in six colours. Retailing at £92.99
