Everyone loves handcrafted wooden products in their home. Whether it be chopping blocks, photo frames or something a little different, we all love the idea that someone has taken the time to create the item we purchase. I know when it comes to buying items I always think about if it is a mass market item or something not many others may have.
I was delighted to be approached by Ligneus, a company that makes handcrafted wooden items for businesses and home with regards to doing a review of their gin and tonic wall rack (yes, my gin love is widely known!) Made using sustainably sourced wood and aged to give a vintage appearance this rack would make a great addition to any bar area or kitchen.
If you are looking for some home bar ideas, then having something like this in place could be a wonderful way to really complete that part of the home.

The rack is simple to hang with 2 screws and is very secure, I was a little worried the weight of the gin and glasses would pull it off the wall but it hasn’t budged since being fastened there. Not only are there 2 sections to add gin bottles and glasses but the top is a sturdy shelf that would be great for adding extra glasses or cocktail mixing equipment etc.

There is more than enough room for any standard bottle of gin in the top compartment and maybe either a smaller bottle, or a mixer in the bottom section. I used one of the glitter mixers in the bottom as it is such a pretty colour and against the blue of the other bottle and vintage style of the rack it really does make the whole things pop.

The great thing about it is that it is supplied blank so you decide what you want it engraved with. I opted for G&T but how great would this be with initials of a bride and groom or date to celebrate an anniversary or birthday!

Overall I am delighted with this piece in my kitchen, it really does look unique and brings my gin collection to life!
Available to buy from Ligneus for £28.00

This is fab! My cousin loves a G&T and would love this.
What a great G & T rack! It looks very well made and so reasonably priced too.
Ooh I love that! What a great way to store your gin and tonic. That would look great in our kitchen!
This looks really solid and well made – I think I need one for my gin glasses – gin bottle collect has a whole cupboard 😉
Ooh I say … I do like that! I’d need several though as I have lots of gin!
This looks like a very solid rack. I like it a lot.
