Books are always a good choice and for a craft lover who is always on the look out for new hobbies how about a craft book. These fabulous books from publishing house SewandSo are great for both beginner and established crafters. I love the idea of making home ware from cardstock and paper, simply folding the way to a new lampshade or vase! As for sewing, quilts are a huge love of mine and I would love to create heirlooms to pass down to the girls and my grand kids. RRP: £15.99 each

Everyone loves a festive DVD and whether it is a golden oldie like It’s A Wonderful Life or a classic like The Snowman, there is something comforting about sitting down together to watch a good movie this time of year. All year round I could eat cheese 24/7 but at Christmas I love to crack out the specialty ones, the ones with fruity fillings and soft cheeses with nuts etc! Mmm! I would love it if someone gave me a selection of cheeses for Christmas so this had to go on my list, a slate board with 3 Snowdonia cheeses (I could eat the Black Bomber like an apple!) Available individually or as gifts this is one website that is well worth a look at this Christmas. RRP: from £4.50

We go through tubs of sweets at Christmas more than any other time of year and long gone are the days of chocolate and toffee, this year its all about retro sweets and candy. For something a little special to pop into stockings or as a one of a kind treat why not buy one of these super cute Snowboys and Snowgirls from Peggy Porschen. Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is the movie on everyones mind right now. I have only seen the first one and really do need to get to see the second one before Christmas as the girls have been asking for Nifflers and goodies for months now. How cute is this trinket tray from Paladone is an ideal little storage dish for coins or jewellery, I can see Evie hanging all of her bracelets and rings from his nose! RRP: £11.99
