Lockdown got us all going a little stir crazy and I really am missing the shops, going out for lunch and just doing normal everyday things! We were given the opportunity to review one of the worlds most famous collectibles, Funko, to whow how much fun can be had at home.
My friends and family all know I am a little obsessed with Jurassic Park so imagine my delight when there JP Funkoverse game was included in the giant box of goodies. It comes with its own little Ian Malcom and Gallimimus! Joy! It is a rather complacated game though and even after reading through the instructions and watching a video the girls just couldn’t grasp it properly, I think it is more suited to adults (it is aimed at children 10+) so once lockdown ends I will be gathering my friends and playing this one with lots of gin!
It even has nuggets of bug infused amber for goodness sake!
One thing we have done during lockdown is watch some of our favourite movies, including Harry Potter from the start. The girls had watched them at random before but we never sat down and did a full marathon. Well with nothing else to do it made sense to start from the beginning and give the girls the whole experience! In our box of goodies from Funko was a Harry Potter cuddly toy and mini collectible. Amelia hasn’t left the cuddly toy alone and in the mini box was Hermione, the girls were so pleased with this and she now stands proudly on one of Evies’ shelves.
We received 4 of the classic Funko Pop Vinyl figures and know from collecting these already that there are thousands available in all categories! Personally I collect the horror ones and have a huge love of cross stitch so try to match them up with works that I have created. The girls keep asking if they can collect them so maybe this is the start of their own collection. We received Batman, Leonardo Da Vinci, Hello Kitty and Harley Quinn (which has gone to my sister, she had hundreds of Funko but not this one so we got some serious brownie points!) Funko Pop Vinyls are priced around the £10 mark.
There are 14 mini collectibles available and you don’t know which one you will get as they are in blind bags. The girls love these and they are great pocket money toys at just £5 each.
We were kindly sent these for the purpose of a review, all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
