Each Christmas we have elves that come to visit. They come and stay with us from the first of December through to Christmas Eve, when they leave and return to the North Pole. Some stay because they have been so good they are allowed to holiday through the Christmas month, others are too naughty to have in the workshop, so Santa sends them to kids around the world to look after.
Sometimes the elves report back on what they have witnessed, some are good elves and some are naughty. We have had ones that would leave the girls chocolate every day, then another year we had one that drew mustaches on us during the night and covered the bedroom in toilet paper! This year we have been visited by an Elves Behavin’ Badly Elf.
These elves have a reputation for being little trouble makers but so far we seem to have gotten off lightly, it could be because Evie is keeping tight hold of him and won’t let him out of her sight (if you saw what the dogs did to the other little visitor we had, you would be watching with eagle eyes too)
So far Twinkle has helped us bake, watched over us in the bath (believe me that was a one off and he promised not to do it again!) and enjoyed Christmas stories each day with Evie. Their favourite book so far is ‘Twas The Night Before Chirstmas! They get wrapped up warm in their pjs and dressing gown and then snuggle down together with hot chocolate and festive hats!
There is a whole host of goodies and props you can buy for the little visitors via the Elves Behaving Badly website, including a bright red glitter sleigh, which Twinkle promises is only to travel home in on Christmas Eve and not to ride around the floor in on a night tormenting the dogs…although from the amount of barks Panda is producing lately I think someone may be getting teased!
Do you have elves visit each December? What have yours got up to this year? We would love to see!
We were sent the elf and items for the purpose of a review, all views and opinions are my own and genuine.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
