We are almost a full month into the Blogger Series: In The Kitchen with… and I am loving every single week!
Last week we made the delicious one pot pasta from Captain Bobcat and the kids devoured seconds – it made a refreshing change to our usual meal plan and I will definitely be making it again!!
I have a feeling I might be requested to make cupcakes after this weeks guest is showcased.
I am delighted to introduce you to the lovely Louise who blogs at…
A Strong Coffee started as a parenting blog 6 years ago. It was my way of keeping my mind active whilst caring for my 3 young boys. However, as they grew I found myself writing more food posts. It is now a mix of family life and family recipes.

I have always enjoyed cooking. Infact, I hadn’t realised how much! When I was looking back at leaving gifts from when I have changed jobs, there is usually a cookery book involved! I always like to make Birthday cakes for the boys and that is where blogging about baking started.

I really enjoy making Danish pastries but due to the length of time it takes to make them I don’t make them often. So i would give these a go!

Garlic, chilli and red wine. These all have the ability to make something taste really good!
I wouldn’t say I have a signature dish, but cupcakes are my love. One of my popular recipes on the blog is my lemon and raspberry cupcakes.

Who doesn’t? When I was cooing a plum upside down cake I dropped it. It was soon known as plum mash.
I love Heston Blumenthal. As a Chemistry teacher myself, I love his scientific approach to cooking. I was lucky enough to eat at The Fat Duck for my 5th Wedding anniversary and it really was an experience for all of your senses. One of my year 13 classes bought me Heston’s family food books as a thank you and I love my cooks blow torch is great for Creme Brulee and the odd science experiment!
