If your children love to colour as much as mine do then you will no doubt have worked your way through a whole host of different colouring pens, pencils, crayons and more. We have used so many different kinds and know now to stay clear of the cheap end of the spectrum, not only do they not last two minutes but they tend to mark and stain easy (and not so easily removed either!)

Thankfully we have never had a single issue with BIC products and gone are the days of hiding my fiber tips from the kids! BIC have brought out the fabulous BIC Kids – Kid Couleur, a 12 pack of durable and ultra washable felt tip pens. We were delighted with how vibrant the colours were and that there was no bleeding through onto the other side of paper when Evie was creating her Shopkins drawing!

Amelias favourites were the Evolution Ecolutions 12 pack of colouring pencils. Normally coloured pencils need to be pressed down quite hard to get colour pay off which inevitably ends up with the points breaking. No such issue with these pencils, Amelia was able to colour in without any pressure what so ever.
The same with the crayons, we love the fact there was no paper around the crayons which made them a little easier to grip too (plus we dont have the issue of lots of little pieces of paper littered all over the floor – bonus!)

The whole range get a huge thumbs up from not only me but from the kids too, they declared them the bestest colours ever and have actually been putting them back in the packets when they have finished using them – that in itself is the highest praise indeed as normally they are just left lying where they fall!
If you have a child between the ages of 5 and 11 who love to colour then Mumsnet have launched a competition where they can have their artwork displayed on a billboard in their hometown! You need to be a registered Mumsnetter to post your picture, so if you are not already here is a link for you to register. It is really easy to enter and can be a drawing of absolutely anything at all!
Enter via the Mumsnet forum HERE and when the competition closes on the 6th of August 10 winners will be chosen to have their work on a billboard and also a £50 BIC bundle of goodies! An overall winner will be chosen at random to win a £300 voucher too!

Evies picture we will be entering into the competition is above, she used the new BIC Couleur pens to create her Poppy Corn poster! We are looking forward to making lots more posters too and are keeping our fingers crossed for the competition too!
XOXO

We are a huge fan of Bic range and I love the quality. Definitely lasts longer and worth the price. The colours are bright too! Love that picture, bringing Poppy in is very thoughtful 🙂
Washable colouring pens, that’s ideal! I will bear that in mind when my little one starts drawing. Thank you!
How fun! I love a good coloring session, really lets me be creative.
