It doesn’t seem two minutes since I was pregnant but this week Amelia turned 2! Holy smoke that time has gone by a little too fast for my liking!
Everyone who knows us knows that we love wooden toys, we have bought them in the past for Evie and the boys and will continue to do so in the future for as long as the kids will play with them. They last forever and are so much more sturdy than ‘fashion’ toys!
Thanks to the lovely Wicked Uncle, where you can put in the sex and age of the child you are buying for and it comes up with options for age appropriate presents! How cool is that! I am forever judging the ages wrong on toys and have had so many that haven’t even been touched as they are too old…yes the look pretty but so not appropriate!
We chose the fabulous Ella Pull along dog, the supercute magnetic Zoo Rolling Animals and for the bubble obsessed Evie the Bubble Factory which promises to blow out thousands of bubbles at a time!
Amelia has taken to walking everywhere with her dog and loves the fact it has a little bell that jingles at you pull it along. She still needs to master the corners without doggy flipping over but I’m sure that will come with time (and a little patience!) lol
The magnetic Zoo Rolling Animals come in 3 parts and can be interchanged to make hybrids of different animals, much to Amelias hilarity! The magnets are pretty strong and its great to watch her play by putting them all together and rearranging them to make new animals!
The bubble factory was a huge hit with all the kids and once we got the hang of the bubble liquid levels it worked spectacularly, blowing out masses of bubbles and creating hysterics amongst the kids! We need more liquid already so its having a break at the minute but to go through all the liquid in around 36 hours shows how much the kids loved it!
Nana Sue came down and spent the day with us which was a lovely treat as she brought Flash too, Amelia adores dogs so kept sneaking him food! Look at those eyes though and tell me you wouldn’t slip him some of your lunch under the table!! lol
Happy Birthday Amelia and lets hope this next year doesn’t go by so fast!
XOXO
Debbie
