With a tag line of from bubble to best friend we really had no idea what was in store when we received the Shnooks to review. Packaged tightly they look like little furry creatures but once you cut the plastics open that is when the fun begins, the Shnook can grow up to 8 times its size!
Open, Shake and Style!
With 6 different characters to collect: Shnuggles, Shazam, Shine, Shweetly, Shmiley and Shay there certainly is something for everyone. The girls received Shay and Shine and couldn’t wait to set about styling their hair with the comb, clips and bobbles that were hidden inside the packaging. As it is long pile fabric you have to be careful not to pull the hair too much when brushing as fibers can come loose but a little patience and you can have a long haired little Shnook to style and play with.
I love how excited Amelia is when they were first opened and had to be shook – they could do with a little more of a shake as I am sure they can grow even more but for a 3 year old she did pretty well! lol
The girls love playing hair dressers so it is good for them to practice on something other than me, there is only so much hair pulling i can endure and its good for them to get some practice in with plaits etc too as Evie keeps asking me to teach her – now I can!
Amelia soon lost interest as there isn’t really much to do with them once you have brushed and played with their hair but Evie adores hers, proclaiming it her best friend and she can’t wait to learn how to ‘do hair properly’. So far we have mastered the cute little bobbles which come in different shapes: hearts, the S initial and a star. There is only one clip included but Evie says Shine can borrow some of hers (heaven knows she has enough!) lol
