I have wanted to join in this link up for a while but somehow lost the link to where it was meant to be – anyway, long story short I found her!! Check out Rainbeaubelle and her post all about it!
Our local shopping centre is closing down to make way for flats, cinema etc which, while I am looking forward to the prospect of having these one the doorstep, means all of the shops are closing down or moving further around town. This is of course bad for the shops but good for discounts and sales!
My first purchases were from Occasions card shop where everything was half price, the mugs were meant to be £7.50 now £3.75 and the little Lily Mae Soul trinket dish (which I think will be fabulous for flat lay photos!) should have been £5.00 now £2.50. I couldn’t resist the mugs as hubbys’ favourite line is …one more minute and I just love the arrows and yes I am in the assertive cup!
This little trinket dish is 5×5 inches and solid glass, slightly bevelled so will work brilliantly when displaying smaller items for blog posts and reviews etc!
Next up is another of my favourite things in the world, Barry M nail paint! I’m loving these Gelly Hi Shine ones as they give a acrylic hardened look to nails and seem to last a lot longer than normal nail varnish! Loving these pale pinks for summer too! £3.50 from Superdrug.
Scouting around Sainsburys after Easter I came across these Mister Maker little packs and having kids that are glued (see what i did there!) to his show I thought I would take a look and boy am I glad I did! The small packs were reduced to 30p each!! The larger packs 70p! I picked up one of each and have popped them away for rainy days to keep the little ones busy!
Also in Sainsburys they had some half price clothing, I think a clear out for the summer clothes but these little pandas were in amongst them! How cute and after Amelia taking a liking to her mouse ones the other day then I just knew these would go down a treat! Reduced to £5.00 and just sad they didn’t have them in adult sizes as I would have loved some too! (I may have also got some black and white stripe tights to go with them as a pack of 3 reduced to £3 too!) Love a good bargain!

I can’t resist a cute mug & seem to have an ever growing collection. That trinket dish is pretty too – the perfect place to put earrings & rings at bedtime.
My favourite thing is definitely the panda shoes, they are amazing! What a bargain too. Really love the mugs, I have a massive mug collection too it is a bit out of hand! Thanks for joining in #fiveunder5 x Julia
