Have you seized the day lately?
Or just the biscuit tin?
Yeah, us too. Those custard creams don’t eat themselves!
Whilst the contents of the snack cupboard may be the only excitement most of us are seeing right now, there is light at the end of a long, dark tunnel.
So set your fantasy phasers to fun, and use your imagination – here are just three ways to live the life of your dreams and make the most of post-pandemic life as soon as we can!
1. Party time
When we’re all happily vaccinated, one of the first things we’ll want to do is get our loved ones in the same room together, raise a glass and unite at last.
No doubt there will be plenty of missed occasions to catch up on too – weddings, birthdays and christenings to name a few. And it’s safe to say the events industry is in for a much-needed boom when the time finally comes!
In the meantime, there are plenty of ways to shake up your family’s regular Zoom pub quiz – try your hand at a virtual escape room, bingo, karaoke or even a game of virtual Taskmaster presented by Alex Horne and Greg Davies themselves!
2. Take a holiday
Picture the scene – a light breeze on the beach as you stroll along the coast, emerging from the bar cocktail in hand, off to soak up the rays on your sun lounger.
Yep. That’s the dream, alright. Holidays will be high on the priority list once the pandemic is over, and eager not to miss out, would-be travellers are already booking their next adventures!
But if you haven’t decided on your dream destination, get looking on Google Maps and indulge in a little travel TV to gather inspiration for your next trip.
3. Dream big!
Whatever your career goals, you may well be one of many that has placed their ambitions on hold during this challenging period for the job market.
But personal development can be more accessible than you might expect, and with remote learning on the rise from institutions adapting for the first time, balancing a full-time career with study is easier than ever.
ARU Distance Learning have been trailblazers in the field of remote education for many years now and have an excellent track record in helping budding professionals flourish and grow.
Studying is a great way to learn new stills, break out of your industry and discover your true calling and a recent qualification shows employers that you’re open to learning new things.
Don’t be shy about reaching for the stars – know your worth and don’t let the doubtful little voice in your head convince you that anything is impossible.
Whatever your post-pandemic dreams are, live them to the full, don’t hold back and make the most of a brighter, better future!
