Wow where do I begin with an update on Little Miss!
Not only does she seem to have come out of the other side of the terrible twos but she seems to have had a growth spurt and seems so much bigger than she ever has! Shes in to size 2-3 clothes, which concidering she was in 12/18 mth for so long this seems like such a huge stepping stone!
The health visitor was concerned on her last visit with Amelias speech, she wasn’t talking in sentences and pointed to things she needed more than asking. Now however she seems to have made leaps and bounds in the past couple of weeks and gone from one word sentences to ‘I need dat’ and ‘dats mine’ ‘I want dat’ is another of her favourite which is driving me mad at the moment as its always what someone else has that she wants! lol
Amelia is learning what she likes and what she doesn’t so will let us know either way too – she is loving garlic and mussels at the minute which is something I thought might be a bit too rich for her tastes! She enjoys going out for meals and is learning how to behave and is learning boundaries, she still pushes it but knows that there is acceptable behaviour and ways she should behave.
She is picking people up on please and thank you much to my amusement as I do it all the time…. ‘what do you say?’ So now when she gives you something she will cock her head to one side and say ‘peeese??’
Her little fake laugh just makes us fall apart, she loves Bing and Ben & Hollys Little Kingdom and often laughs at the right parts or finds things a giggle when they do something wrong or funny. She has such a belly laugh and deep voice that we can’t help but laugh along with her!
Amelia loves to pose for the camera, if shes in the right mood, and is a real little doll. Nana knits the most awesome outfits for her for autumn so we have a lot of photo shoots coming up and she acts like a proper little diva with her poses, none of them are staged, I literally just press the button on the camera and see what we end up with – I’m loving these photos from today and this is just the wall outside of next doors house on the way back from the school run! lol
Our little redhead keeps us on our toes and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
XOXO
Debbie
