The Living Arrows project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
My photographs this week are chosen purely because they make me smile 🙂
When I am at the beach everything seems to disappear, worries seem smaller, stresses seem to flow away with each wave. Amelia seemed to get the same feeling when standing at the waters edge – we couldn’t help but smile when we saw her open her arms to welcome the peace that the sea brings.
For a long time I only had boys so plaits were something I generally did with either my own hair or my god daughters when I got the chance. Watching Evie practice on her Barbie brought those first few fumbled hairstyles back to me – it takes patience to learn something new and watching Evie made me proud of how she is trying new things.
