Walking through the woods with the chant of ‘Lets Go YippieYo‘ certainly brings attention, even more so when passers by realise the children are being drawn about in something resembling a chariot!
One little boy even commented ‘oh mummy look at that girls race car’ – bless! Honestly, I wasn’t even pulling it that fast!
Thanks to the patented frame construction and the innovative design, the YippieYo Crossbuggy is pioneering a totally new category of child transport devices.

The YippiYo is designed to be used on every surface and has a low centre of gravity to stop any tipping or wobbles. The one-axle frame, special suspension system made from lightweight aluminium and specially selected mountain bike components make the YippieYo a fabulous one of a kind off road buggy! The fact you pull instead of push adds a whole new dimension to taking the kids out for a trek!

As well as falling in love with the whole concept of the YippieYo we adore the ethics of the company:
The YippieYo all-terrain buggy is manufactured using corrosion-resistant aluminium. The metal is formed into shape by means of a state-of-the-art tube-bending technique. Each element undergoes a separate tolerance test before being welded by hand to create a robust framework. Manufacturing is carried out in Switzerland, while the assembly takes place in a large sheltered workshop that employs people with disabilities. All the other components are purchased from renowned brand manufacturers within the EU. The chassis is totally recyclable.

When the buggy arrived we were surprised at the size of the box but soon realised that the chassis is one who piece so no building up is needed. The only thing required is the wheels to be clipped into place which are very simply a case of pushing the centre of the wheel and pulling the stopper out. This removes the wheel for easy transportation in the car etc.

The lockable handle is also adjustable to different heights which is great for when me and hubby are taking turns in pulling the girls around. The easy grip break offers excellent control at the touch of a single finger! The girls are not without accessories when we go out and about too so having additional storage at the back means that I don’t end up having to carry everything around too!

As there is space for 2 children it is good to know that there are two 5-point safety harnesses ensuring that both children are securely strapped in. Another factor that has been taking into consideration is that little fingers have a habit of trying to touch things they shouldn’t, special finger guards are in place to stop little ones trying to touch the wheels which is a huge peace of mind since the girls are behind us when walking so not in sight at all times.
Overall we love the YippieYo and the only downside we found was that it is pretty bulky and heavy so you need to have additional storage space (garage, shed etc) Other than that we love spending time outdoors now as we know if the girls get tired they can hop into the YippieYo and we can continue our adventures!
XOXO

This looks amazing! Perfect for summer outings, it’s good that it’s transportable in a vehicle too.
I need this for trips to the New Forest! Sometimes my pram struggles so I’ve been looking for something more all terrain. Does it fit in your boot? We have a reasonably small car and I struggle to fit my pram or a stroller in it.
This looks fantastic! Looks like the girls lived it
