Since turning 8 I have seen a shift in Evies behaviour, she is a little more grown up and not so much a child anymore. Of course she is still a little girl but she is growing up quickly and I wanted to give her something to help personalise her bedroom a little instead of just unicorns and glitter.
Evie is a huge fan of the world, we can spend hours looking at the globe and finding out new facts about countries and places she wants to visit when she is older. I wish I had the money to be able to take her now and hopefully one day we will be able to travel together, if she still wants her old mum tagging along! When we spotted this fabulous water colour effect wall sticker from Neon Sheep, with the sentiment ‘I haven’t been everywhere…But its on my list’ we knew this was just what was needed to brighten up her plain wall. The colours are stunning and it really does look like an art piece.
With a love of the world comes a love of all animals, Evie has such a kind soul and sobs at movies where animals get hurt or injured. Having soft toys of her favourites around her room will never grow old and I love the idea of having then up and out of the way too. When I saw this elephant head I knew she would love it as a focal point on her wall and hopefully keep her encouraged enough to want to see them for real one day in the wild. These stuffed ones are so cute though! Like wise with the velvet knot cushion I got to go on her new bed, although she did say it looked like intestines at first haha I guess home ed is paying off!
The final piece for her room is this neon heart. She has always loved hearts and its her go to doodle when shes day dreaming, so I thought what better than a constant reminder that she is loved so very much. It runs on batteries too so no unsightly wires or cables and can be wall mounted or freestanding.
All of these items were from the fabulous Neon Sheep for less than £30. They have so many quirky touches that I can’t wait to finish decorating my room and go shopping for more pieces!
XOXO

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
