When I was younger and dreamed about having daughters I was always sitting brushing their long silky locks, plaiting and playing with their hair, popping it in ponytails and pigtail plaits with no tears or tantrums…
Then I had girls and reality hit! HARD!
When Evie was born we knew from the moment her hair started to grow that we would have issues. Everyone would comment on how beautiful her hair was and how great it was that her hair was so extremely thick and naturally curly she wouldn’t need mess with nature in the future! Nature played a doozy on this one though!
Over the years we have tried multiple inventions, sprays, lotions, leave in conditioner blah blah but nothing seems to make any difference and I have lost count of the tears that have been shed over hair brushing. Not only does it hurt her but it hurts me too to think that she is in so much pain having something done that is essential and should be a fun pastime!
Enter the Tangle Angel, at first glance this looks like something Barbie would use in colours Precious Pink and Fab Fuchsia! With stunning wing decoration that not only looks fabulous but provides grip for you to use alongside the handle this brush really is a gem! Professional detangling is what is stated and as dubious as I was that it would actually work on Evies hair I have to say we have been blown away by how much less time it takes now and how easier this seems to get through the ‘nest’.
As she has grown and her hair has gotten longer the curls may have dropped but the thickness is a real issue, she can go to bed with poker straight hair on a night and yet wakes up with a knotted, tatty nest on top of her head! She is either a super wriggler during her sleep or someone is messing with my sanity!
Now after a shower and hair wash we are able to sit and brush hair without tears, Amelias hair is really fine and fly away so we have never had any issues with brushing hers but she loves the design and sits in front of me, says ‘princess’ and I know she wants me to brush her hair with her own Tangle Angel!
We were kindly sent the Tangle Angels for the purpose of this review, however we already use them! All opinions and views are our own and genuine!
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
