I have written before about how lucky I am to be able to be a full time blogger and how I would never have the opportunities that I do if I didn’t work for myself. Friday was a prime example of this as I was able to spend the day at a spa with my mum thanks to Fenetic Wellbeing and their #GlamMa campaign.
The campaign is to highlight the fact that Fenetic Wellbeing are a mobility company who exist to provide customers with the right mobility products for their individual needs, including mobile scooters. We were asked if we would like to experience a glamour day out with their grandmother (or mother) to highlight the importance of supporting those who may have restricted mobility or easy access to get out and about. Fenetic Wellbeing is looking to keep ‘grans glam’ with their #GlamMa campaign. Although neither me nor mum have mobility issues we chose a venue that is on one level with ease of access for wheelchairs etc. Seaham Hall Serenity Spa is accessible to all.
We chose to have their new Nailed It package which involved a file and polish for the fingers and Thai style afternoon tea. We booked an additional file and polish for feet too as a complete pamper as neither of us have ever had a pedicure before.
The nailvarnish used was OPI and I already have quite the collection but it was something else to wander in and have to choose from hundreds of colours!
The girls who looked after us were lovely and gave us enough time to have a look at all of the nail colours, gave advice on length of nails and suitable shades and were overall very friendly and welcoming which added to the overall feel of the day. I got to sit and chat with mum which was great as it was lovely to have some one on one time where we had nothing else to do but focus on being pampered.
Afternoon tea was amazing as it was in their in house restaurant and based around a Thai menu. We were presented with a glass of prossecco and a platter of both sweet and savoury Thai dishes including Teriyaki Bao Bun, Satay Chicken with spicy peanut sauce, coconut pannacotta and passionfruit meringue.
I realise just how lucky we are to be able to head out and about without worry of mobility issues and whether or not places are accessible hence wishing to be part of this campaign. We both agreed we felt like true #GlamMa advocates when we came out all painted and pampered!
XOXO
Debbie

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
