We were recently gifted the Children’s Globe 3D puzzle from Ravensburger, we are huge puzzle fans and this is the first shaped one we have tried.
There are so many different puzzles and jigsaws out there and to be honest the girls are a little bored with plain flat picture ones so we were looking forward to trying something different
The girls loved how easy the pieces were to put together and to be honest I thought it would fall apart as soon as the sphere started to take shape but thanks to Easyclick Technology this is one sturdy globe!
Inside the box are 180 puzzle pieces, base stand and instructions. There is even a little plate that you can place the part made globe upon to help keep the shape as your build.
Each puzzle piece is numbered which makes the whole process so much easier than it would be without as you simply work your way from 1 to 180 in a circular motion.
There are holes in the top and bottom of the completed puzzle which are for the base stand to slot into, meaning the globe can spin too making it fully functional as an actual educational piece. No glue is required which means it can be taken apart and remade whenever you wish. Aimed at age 7-12 I found that this was probably best as Amelia did struggle to hold the pieces and put them in place due to the slight curve.
Each country has landmarks and regional animals as well as sealife within the oceans making for great talking points.
Overall we love this and will most definitely be looking out for more 3D puzzles to complete.
We were kindly sent the puzzle for the purpose of the review. All views and opinions are genuine.
