Sometimes only the pastels will do!
Some days I love a good blood red nail varnish, black with a hint of glitter or all out rainbow effect on my fingers! Today however I am feeling quite mellow and I’m opting for the pastels. Of course, it has to be pink and contrary to my hubbys’ belief these pinks are very much different shades….(‘WTF do you mean Deb they are almost identical’ – were his words I think!) *rolls eyes* They just don’t get it do they!?!
Shades are Kingsland Road (textured), Pink Lemonade and Rose Hip (jelly). All by Barry M Cosmetics. (one of my absolute favourite drug store brands)
I find the jelly nail varnishes need a good 2 maybe even 3 coats to get a decent streak free coverage. You’re left with a gorgeous glossy ‘jelly’ type effect! The textured feels quite sandy when you put it on which is obviously the whole point of it being textured! I don’t like the rough feel on my nails but the colour of Kingsland Road is so pretty that I may just have to overcome this dislike!
