Many years ago now I was once a scrapbooker and had a million pictures printed that I would love looking through, checking to see which ones would make the cut for the scrapbooks and which ones were just for general memory collecting. I have boxes and boxes of photographs but all of that stopped around 5 years ago when I stopped creating the albums and instead just saved all my images online.
It was only the other day when the girls discovered all of the albums of the boys and Evies early years that I realised Amelia doesn’t even have her own book. Not one! I have all of these memory books of when the boys were little but not much of the girls and nothing of Amelia at all! I made a vow there and then to create her at least one book but to look more into maybe just getting some general photo albums to add pictures too.
When I was growing up we would sit and look through photo albums for hours, even now I have a picture of me and my sister in front of an old camper van that mum and dad had, the picture is framed and out for display in my home. I have too many memories cooped up on the laptop that if anything happened to it I would lose it all – all of those years gone!
That was when I made the decision to print out a load of photographs of both Evie and Amelia and create not only a photo book for Amelia but some kind of wall decor for her bedroom. She still hasn’t moved into her own room so I am hoping that this might make her smile and encourage her to be in there more often. If she is surrounded by happy memories it will hopefully become somewhere she loves to be.
I was kindly offered a trial with Printiki to choose some images online to review their photograph printing service. Having looked through the many options I chose the polaroid style prints which meant I was able to add little bits of text to each photo – things like dates and times, names and quotes etc.
The process was so simple, I picked which photographs I wanted printing and it gave me the option to work through the list adding the text I wanted to each one. They arrived within a couple of days and the print quality is amazing, no pixelation and exactly like real old fashioned Polaroids which is exactly what I wanted.
I can’t wait to create Amelias feature wall and I wouldn’t hesitate in ordering again from Printiki! Its given me the buzz of crafting again and I really look forward to creating a new scrapbook full of fabulous memories! Pop over to the Printiki Instagram page for lots of inspiration.

I was sent the items for the purpose of this review, all views are my own and genuine.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
