Can I just start this post by saying I actually types out 10th February 1997!
WTF?!
Very scary to think I woke up this morning and lost decades – in fact i don’t know whats more frightening, the fact my brain thought it was 1997 or that 1997 was 20 years ago!
Anyways… this weeks #LittleLoves crept up on me, this week seems to have flown over so fast. Of course the forecast of snow and a couple of events have made it exciting but I feel like I have kind of hit a wall right now and need some down time. Pushing to bake and cook each day to get the new blog launches is taking its toll and I really do need to have this weekend to just chill out. I’m thinking PJs and movies, simple food and gin! Bliss!
OK, this week I am linking up as always with Coffee, Work, Sleep, Repeat for another edition of #LittleLoves.
READ
This week has been a bit of an indulgent read, cookbooks! I know a lot of people wont see the appeal but I love taking a cookbook to bed and flicking through the book to get inspiration, it does make me hungry looking at all the amazing pictures but it also fills me with ideas to create the following day…and makes for some very interesting dreams too!
WATCHED
Scandal! This has to be my favourite programme ever, I am a complete addict and love nothing more than sitting down to get my Olivia Pope fix! A story of how the White House works with sex, lies, murder and so much more this really is a box set worth investing in if you haven’t already given in to the ‘Fitz or Jake’ choice that every woman has had to make while watching (I am completely Team Fitz but wouldn’t say no to a bit of Jake either!) Happy sigh!
HEARD
Reliving some of my older music choices and teaching the kids the ways of LeAnn Rimes! I have the Coyote Ugly soundtrack and knowing I am going to see her in a couple of weeks made me dig it out and start listening to it again. The girls love dancing round the kitchen to it and it made me realise just how much we love listening to music so have sorted out all of our CDs (yes im old school) and looked into downloading some new more recent choices too.
MADE
I was invited along to Tapas Revolution this week to make my own tapas dishes, there is a whole blog post coming on this soon but for now lets just leave this cuttlefish picture here – drool!
WORE
This past week I have been living in my jeans! I’m trying to get out of the whole leggings vibe as it makes me a little lazy with clothing choices and unless I’m wearing my long boots to keep warm out in the cold then leggings just seem more like lazing around wear right now!
and LASTLY
Hubby now has a bike and I am starting to run from Monday! Yes we are both embarking on a healthy 2017, through his work hubs was able to choose a bike as they like to encourage cycling to and from work, healthy staff and overall fitness which i think is a great incentive! I will however be a little stressed the first couple of times until I know he is OK on the roads – it not him I will worry about its everyone else, no one seems to care these days and the roads are so dangerous!
ME: I am starting the C25K (couch to 5k app), I have started it in the past but got pregnant so gave up (any excuse) but since I really do love running I am going to pick it up again and really go for it this time, something right now feels like the right time to start so hopefully I will stick to it! I will be updating with how its going to keep a visual diary of my progress too!
XOXO

For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
I am also trying to switch out jeans for leggings. Lived in leggings for years now but time for jeans – agree with your comments above. Jeans revolution!
Serial is the best too :)! Not sure about this new season though…
Love tapas! We used to live in Spain so it’s always a favourite of mine. I’d never heard of Scandal until I started reading all the #littleloves posts this week, sounds really good. Ha ha I can’t believe 1997 was 20 years ago either. It’s the year I left secondary school and I swear it’s 10 years ago at most and even that makes me feel old! Have a great week 🙂
