I don’t mean the kind that are going to get you arrested or frowned upon by your neighbours but I think we all harbour some guilty pleasures that we cringe at when we mention to others…
Mine would have to be that I love trashy reality TV, bring on those scantily clad babes and male divas on Love Island (Kem and Chris still have my heart!), the absolute cringe worthy Geordie Shore (seriously we don’t all act like that, well not all the time anyway!) and not forgetting Big Brother, however for that I need to have watched it from the start or I just don’t get the feel for the housemates!
This years Love Island was perfect with the duo that was Kem and Chris – why couldn’t Chris have just ‘mugged off’ Olivia and coupled up with his best friend I don’t know, I’m all about equality!
I finally realised this year just why I love trash TV so much…
I asked some of my lovely blogging chums what their guilty pleasures are and this is what they had to say:
Beth from Twinderelmo: I’m addicted to Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2, which as a 30 something is quite embarrassing to admit to – but I’m hooked!
Katie from LivingLifeOurWay: Love Island and Big Brother are both secret addictions! I also have a major soft spot for Melissa and Joey too, but don’t tell anyone!
Catherine from HereComeTheHoopers: Ooh my latest obsession is Riverdale on Netflix. Murder, intrigue and hot young lads. I also watch lots of ‘yes to the dress’ even though I’ve been married 12 years!
Cat from PushingTheMoon: I am ashamed to admit it but I am a Keeping up with the Kardashians fan. I record it on Sunday night to watch it once I’ve done the school run on Monday morning. I also have an addiction to Gossip Girl and have just finished watching the whole series for the 3rd time!
Sarah from ArthurWears: Ex on the beach, pure trash but I can’t help but want to know what happens! Only thing is they swear so much I can’t watch it unless Arthur is in bed asleep lol
Emma from CannyFood: As a vegan cookery shows have become a guilty pleasure because of the amount of animal products used in them. I spend my time trying to work out how I can substitute ingredients. My favourite show has to be You Gotta Eat Here, a Canadian show that’s like Man Vs Food without the insane eating competitions.
I even managed to pry some none TV guilty secrets too:
Chantele from TwoHeartsOneRoof: I’m guilty of eating peanut butter out of the jar, with a spoon (or my fingers!!) lol!
Karen from MonkeyFeet: Eating pot noodles! I’m not joking it’s a real dirty food secret i wouldnt even let the kids see me eat one!
Nicola from MummyWales: Jigsaws! I also like a bit of Gardener’s World now and then. I’m actually a 90 year old in the body of a 33 year old
Faith from RaisingMoonbows: When I want a bit of no real brain needed time, I love colouring in kids colouring books . The adult ones just take to much brain power!
Thank you lovelies, it’s good to know I am in excellent company! lol
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
XOXO
Debbie
Vacations are back, and if you have a destination spot, like Disney, it may be time to consider a Disney Timeshare for your vacation accommodations. First take a look at timeshare resales, as they offer a great price and an affordable entry point into the timeshare marketplace.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
I love this, thanks foeincluding me and my diary food secret
