It has been 11 weeks since I last did a #Littleloves round up and things have certainly changed in that time.
Separation, moving home, new town and more means that I have some catching up to do and will be hoping to do these regularly again now that I am finally settling in.
Not very exciting at all, it has all been about contracts, tenancy agreements and more – going it alone means I am having to set up everything new!
Ozark. I love Jason Bateman so had high hopes for this and I wasn’t disappointed. The show is about a man who launders money for a large Mexican drug cartel and when things take a turn for the worse he takes his family and heads out to the Ozarks with the promise of making everything better … and laundering huge amounts in the process for his boss. Obviously nothing is straight forward and they run into all kinds of troubles! The end of series one leaves it open for a whole host of new issues so I am eagerly awaiting the second series!
It’s what I haven’t heard is the problem, being self employed, separating from your husband and moving home means HMRC want the equivalent of war and peace! All of the paperwork is in so now its just a waiting game to see what I am entitled to child tax credit wise etc. Super tight belts in the meantime!
Decorating can be classed as made, yes? I made my bedroom look pretty!
Thanks to Facebook marketplace, Freecycle and pieces I already had it is certainly starting to take shape. Big reveal coming soon!
I have been living in decorating clothes or jeans lately and was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked my suitcases that a skirt I have never been able to get fastened was able to fit! Its still a little tight but much better than it was before so heading in the right direction!
We are walking lots lately, it takes 15 minutes to get to the school (of which we have had a trial run in anticipation of September) and a further 10 minutes to get to my mums. In the other direction its a good 10 minute walk to the doctors so I can safely say we have been getting lots of exercise and it is certainly taking its toll. I feel stronger than I have in a long time and am already 1 stone down so really looking forward to the kids starting school and the regular trek it will be to take and pick them up every day!
XOXO
Debbie
So many people have been raving bout Ozark, but I’m not sure it is my kind of thing. Will have to check it out. I love your new wallpaper, it is so different, yet subtle! Love it!
