Now that Christmas is quickly approaching, you’re probably wondering what sort of outfit you’re going to wear on Christmas day. Of course, everyone loves just lounging around the day in their PJs, especially when they’re opening stockings or presents from under the tree. But when you get closer to the afternoon and are getting ready for Christmas dinner or even a get together with friends and family, it’s time for you to pick out your favourite outfit and start getting yourself prepared for the day’s events. Here are some ideas to get you started.

Christmas Themed Dresses
Naturally, if you’re going to enjoy Christmas then you should do it in a Christmas themed outfit. Now, this doesn’t mean you should just wear a funny themed Christmas jumper (though you can if you want). Instead, you can actually buy formal dresses that have a subtle Christmas theme but look extremely elegant. A lot of them incorporate pictures of holly, stars, Christmas trees, baubles and even Santa Claus himself, and take on either a pencil shape or go for a 1950’s look. These sort of dresses are normally big, bold and tend to come extremely passionate colours, like red, green and blue.
Sparkle Bling Dresses
Instead of going for the conservative look, why not add a little bit of sparkle to your outfit? It doesn’t matter your age, weight or profession, you could literally be a Mayfair Escort and it would not matter, you deserve to feel beautiful and at your best on Christmas day. Find a dress that either sparkles with gold, silver or red or maybe even look at a bedazzled dress that is dripping in jewels and combine them with a large black heel. It’s a great way of making your little black dress stand out!
Reds & Greens
Naturally, this isn’t really a colour combination that you would wear outside of the holidays. But even if you want to wear it as a work outfit during the Christmas season, it is the perfect way to add some brightness to your look. Try going for passionate reds and greens to make sure they really stand out. Just remember not to go overboard. Keep the rest of the outfit style simple and combine them with a black or silver heel. If you want to make you look appear extra seasonal, try and add a little bit of fake fur to your outfit. This can give you that extra special feeling of winter, as well as keep you warm on a late night out.
Golden Sparkle Jewellery
Whilst you may want to stick with your seasonal earrings and accessories, if you want to give your outfit a touch of glamour, then try to incorporate simple shaped golden earrings into your look. Squares, ovals or a combination of the two are a great way to add a look of classic beauty to your outfit. Just try not to over do it!
Tutu Skirts
If you are feeling a bit bolder about your look, then why not go for a red tutu to give you that “nutcracker” ballerina feel? It’s the perfect way to feel like a Christmas princess without going overboard. Try to combine it with a white lace shirt and shoes. It’s the perfect thing to wear if you are going out to a party.
Are you ready to look your best?
Christmas is a special time of the year. Whilst you don’t always need to dress up to have fun, if you want to feel your best then this is the time to do it. Whether you want something more casual or are ready to indulge in a pure party outfit, the choice is entirely up to you. Just make sure to wear something that makes you feel totally gorgeous whilst you are enjoying yourself.
