Shopping online is now more prevalent than ever, most stores themselves are closed due to Coronavirus so the only option is to purchase via the internet.
I have found some fabulous items that the girls love, Evie is at the stage where she is picking her own clothes. She is 10 now so not wanting to wear frilly little kids styles and themes anymore. Amelia is a nightmare and has always been very vocal when it comes to what she wears…no pink and shopping from the boy section usually!
Some of our favourite places include the likes of Next, Boden and of course supermarkets have clothing sections which are usually really good value for money.
Right now spreading the cost could be a great option for clothing those little ones going through a growth spurt. Distributing the cost over weeks or months rather than all at once are possible with lots of bad credit catalogues so it is worth shopping around.
I thought I would give some tips when searching online for childrens clothes. Now is not the right time to be having to return goods so if you follow these ideas you should eliminate the need for extra shopping stresses.
Search the review section for sizing issues. A lot of the time people will only leave a comment if there is something wrong or there was an issue, it is always worth reading the reviews to find out if sizing is too small or too large.
If your child is between sizes, always size up! Kids grow overnight so it is better to have something they can grow into rather than something that fits them one day and not the next!
Avoid slogans and statement t-shirts! Unless it is for an instagram post where you really want to make a statement do you really need your children campaigning for you every second of the day, give them a break. Let them choose their clothes and remind them that patterns hide dirt! This works to both your advantage – less washing and they feel they can get away with being kids for that little bit longer, who doesn’t love playing in the dirt!
At the moment go for comfort over style, children are spending most of the time either completing home school projects or generally messing around at home. PJ’s, lounge wear and t-shirts are ideal and long wearing clothes, no one wants to feel uncomfortable in shirt and jeans right now. My girls are living in combat pants and t-shirts or leggings and hoodies. Momma is right there with them too!
No stress!
