By now you all know I am on an 8 week journey will XLS Nutrition and for some reason I just can’t seem to shift the weight! Having had issues with milk in the past I have spoken with the dietitian and we have decided to try an alternative milk – coconut, with the addition of fresh fruit to add to the nutritional and calorific value to keep it all in line with the original plan.

So far so good and my stomach seems to be a lot less bloated and a lot less pained that it has been, I know I should really go and get checked for a lactose intolerance so that is high on my list of things to do this coming week. I guess I needed something like this to go and get a proper diagnosis so that’s a good outcome!
2 weeks ago I started to do regular exercise and so far I am loving it! As well as getting out in the garden overhauling that, and believe me that is a work out in itself! Moving 3 ton of gravel in a wheelbarrow from the front to the back of the house and digging up over half the garden will certainly have me building muscle so although the numbers aren’t showing on the scales I definitely feel fitter than I ever have in a long time. I am also a lot less out of breath than I use to be, aching in the morning after a workout is now a thing of the past and I am getting use to having a little me time to get the exercise in regularly.

I am however wanting to switch to morning workouts so that I can get up a little before the girls and get the workout in then, I really do think it starts the day off the best way and will of course give me more motivation to stick to the food plan all day and maybe not have that sneaky glass (or 3) of wine on a night! I swear the alcohol is the main cause of weight gain so that really does need to take a back seat until I at least reach my goal!

Now that we have had the chickens over a week and the antibiotics will have worked their way out of them we can start to eat the fresh eggs – we have saved 3 for tomorrow so I am going to have a lovely breakfast of poached eggs with a bagel (minus the butter!) and start again with the shakes twice a day come Monday. I really am determined to get this stone shifted before final weight in!
XOXO
Debbie
