We wrote about how much fun we had with Gazillion bubbles last year so when we were offered the chance to review the new Gazillions Bubble Pong the girls were super excited.
Similar to the original pong game where you bounce balls into cups but this time you have to burst your opponents bubbles, the first person to score 3 times wins! It is a 2 player game and suitable for all ages with 4 levels of difficulty so not as easy as it first seems!
The game base is a sturdy plastic machine with simple click in barriers to guide the bubbles etc, it comes with 6 rigid ping pong balls and a bottle of Gazillions bubble liquid. The good thing about it is that the liquid is available to buy from all good stores separately and you can buy huge containers, Bubble solution refills come in 8oz, 2L and 4L bottles – we found this out last year when the girls went wild with the bubble wand.
Both the girls love this game and I can’t wait to play it outside when we can really go for it and up the difficulty levels, the sheer amount of bubbles was amazing and you can turn off game mode so that it is literally just a bubble machine. Ideal for picnics or when the kids have friends round to play in the garden.
The machine does take a whopping 8 x AA batteries which are not included so you need to have these in especially as you’re not likely to have that many lying around. Plus it does need to be on a flat surface for the balls to bounce (i know that sounds obvious!)
Gazillion Bubbles have a huge range of products and we have never been let down by the bubble making ability of the liquid! Highly recommended and available from Amazon, Argos Online, Smyths !
