This week I have enjoyed making time for myself, finding those few moments when I can sit down and enjoy a cup of HOT tea instead of having to remake it over and over. Cooking and making things in the kitchen rather than just grabbing something for convenience.
Having had a huge shift in energy lately I’m loving that when I complete work I just sit and relax for a while. In fact as I need a new living room suite I am thinking of switching to a 2 seater and one of the recliner chairs from Fenetic Wellbeing. I’m catching up on programmes I have wanted to watch for a while and even started watching How to Get away with Murder again from the start.
We have even taken to getting up on a morning when we wake instead of setting an alarm. The girls are loving that I have given them a bit more freedom in going to sleep and waking, although it may need to be reigned in in the future as I can imagine Evie being a complete bed hog and never leaving hers again!
I have spent the best part of the week catching up on overdue blog posts, doing admin and general housework and you know what, it feels good to actually be in control of things for once. Maybe it is just a frame of mind but I feel like since I started moving my mind set into one of ‘this is my life and I control it’ I have seen a huge shift in the way I look at things. Yesterday for example I had a new chair, desk, curtain pole and curtains to build and sort out but I shrugged them off and spent 7 hours at my mums playing games with my sister who was visiting.
You know what?
The desk and chair and curtain pole and curtains were all still there when I got home and after making dinner for me and Ethan (the girls were at their dads so Ethan came to stay for some one on one!) I set about putting up the pole and building up the desk etc. It was all done before bedtime and we had spent a lovely day with family too! We can have it all, its just a matter of prioritising what is important!
This coming week I think I will take the girls to get the rest of the Christmas presents and food for Christmas Day. Then all we need to do is sit back and enjoy it!
XOXO

Vacations are back, and if you have a destination spot, like Disney, it may be time to consider a Disney Timeshare for your vacation accommodations. First take a look at timeshare resales, as they offer a great price and an affordable entry point into the timeshare marketplace.
For those who prefer a more traditional home-like experience when on vacation, a timeshare can make sense. If you’ve gotten many years of good use out of your timeshare and now want to get rid of it, a timeshare cancellation company like Timeshare Freedom Group or Lonestar transfer may be able to help.
I had a mini-breakdown this week because I’d been rushing all over the place looking after people at the detriment of myself. I’m slowly coming out of the other side of it now and I can see what happened and why. I’m stepping back a bit and giving myself time to recover – and yes lots of cups of tea!
I’ve been trying to ensure I get a little segment of time to myself each day, and I can really feel the difference.
